My journey into Cafe's illustration began in December 2021, a pivotal moment that marked my rediscovery of passion. Prior to this, I had been grappling with severe professional burnout.

Despite my job being related to drawing, the monotony of the work had left me weary and disinterested after more than eight years...

One day, I met a friend I hadn't seen for a long time at a cafe'. It was a shop built in a retro style. I was deeply attracted by every item in the shop, such as the jar-shaped fish tank, typewriter decorations, etc. I suddenly had the idea to record it, so I took out my notebook and started sketching. After I got home, I used watercolours to paint it.At the same time, I used a time-lapse video to record my painting process and then uploaded it to IG for sharing.

At first, I just shared the check-in records of friends at the coffee shop, but then I suddenly had the idea of continuing this theme, so I set a goal for myself to write one article every week and try my best to continuously produce works!

"You don't have to be great to start; you have to start to be great."

Then I'll give it a try! Developing a habit is a wonderful thing. Once you stop doing it, you will feel uncomfortable, even though nothing will happen if you don't do it.

But I have continued to draw for more than a year.

The number of followers and responses on IG and FB has increased slowly, but the magical algorithm has allowed my work to be seen!?
